The Economy of Swaziland
Trades are very significant to Swaziland's economy, for the value of exports and imports take together equals the 80 percent of the gross domestic product or the GDP. Also, foreign investments are restricted. It is fairly diversified with manufacturing and mining. However, Swaziland's economy has averaged 2.8 percent only in 2001, it was 2 percentage points lower than in other countries, this led them to their downfall. There were surpluses and declining revenues, deficits, and deteriorated public finances. On the debt burden has decreased over the last 20 years.
